Chinese Tarot Astrology Association Membership Rules

(The following rules apply to fields such as tarot/astrology/psychology/physical and mental healing)

  1、 Confidentiality principle

Counselors/therapists require strict protection of the content of counseling conversations, but there are three exceptions:

1.The visitor has a tendency to self-injure or hurt people

2. Legal provisions require cooperation with judicial investigations

3. Infringement of minors

2、 Principle of Respect and Acceptance

The counsellor/healer needs to accept the values, behavioural patterns and emotional states of the visitor in a non-judgemental manner, and even if they conflict with his/her own perceptions, he/she must not argue or criticise, let alone swear directly at the visitor. The counsellor can help the visitor feel safe and understood through empathy, listening and positive attention. For example, when faced with a visitor who has a tendency to self-harm, the counsellor will not blame him or her for his or her behaviour, but will explore the psychological needs behind it.

3、 Principles of Professional Competence

Counsellors/healers will only provide services that are within their competence. If they encounter areas in which they do not specialise (e.g. serious mental illness, serious physical illness, post-traumatic stress disorder, etc.), they are required to refer to relevant experts in a timely manner. At the same time, counsellors are required to receive ongoing training, supervision and personal experience to avoid misinformation or secondary harm due to lack of professional competence.

4、 Value neutrality principle and self-help principle

Counselors/therapists do not influence visitors based on personal values or social standards. Counselors need to be cautious in their words and actions, and help clients clarify their needs and goals in a respectful and peaceful manner. We emphasize that consultants help visitors discover their own problem-solving potential through professional guidance, rather than directly providing solutions. This principle establishes the empowering nature of psychological counseling. For example, when a visitor hesitates about their career choice, the counselor does not directly suggest "which path should be chosen", but guides them to analyze the pros and cons of different choices through questioning.

5、 Voluntary principle

Consultation is based on the visitor's proactive willingness to seek help. Compulsory consultation (such as school or unit requirements) requires an assessment of the visitor's acceptance level. If they clearly object, the counselor has the right to refuse service. Special groups such as minors require informed consent from their guardians, but their willingness to participate must still be respected.

6、 Principle of emotional limitation: Avoid multiple relationships and conflicts of interest

It is not recommended for counselors/therapists to establish non consulting relationships with clients/visitors (such as friends, business partnerships, etc.) to avoid emotional or interest disputes that may affect judgment. For example, not providing formal consultation to family or friends, and not using business consulting relationships for other personal gain.

7.Principles of time limitation and punctuality

Time management standards, including dual dimensions:

Single session duration: Regular consultation should be controlled within 40-60 minutes

Periodic frequency: The interval between consultations should maintain regularity, and it is not recommended to consult extensively in the short term

Punctuality principle: fixed start and end times for consultations

8、 Principle of major decision postponement:

Delay major decision: It is recommended that visitors postpone making major life decisions during the consultation period

Subject Respect Clause: Requires maintaining value neutrality throughout the entire process and avoiding imposing the consultant's personal values

9、 Promote growth and avoid harm

All interventions in counseling or healing should prioritize the well-being of the visitor. Avoid using unverified methods (such as unscientific, self-made psychological tests), or applying pressure through manipulation, belittling, and other means. For example, instead of forcing visitors to recall traumatic events, gradually establish a sense of security before handling them.

10、 Reasonable fees for business consulting

If the interpretation of the consultant/therapist is chargeable and not of a public welfare nature, please explain to the customer in advance and provide relevant interpretation after obtaining the customer’s  consent; If there are additional charges, reasonable fees within the acceptable range will be charged with the consent of the parties involved.

11、 Regularly open public welfare activities

The association suggests that counselors/therapists regularly engage in public welfare activities, including but not limited to regular open public welfare consultations, regular participation in public welfare activities, and regular donations to give back to society. We hope that everyone can continuously improve their own well-being and that of all humanity, and contribute to building a harmonious earth.

President Luoshu's statement: We hope that all members of the association will abide by the above ten rules, maintain a sense of awe towards them, possess more and more beautiful virtues and morals, and strive to continuously improve their skills, abilities, experience, wisdom, and cognition to help more people find their own success or happiness.

If any members are found to have violated the association's rules, the president and vice president will give a verbal reminder for the first time, publicly name them on the website for the second time, and expel them from the association for the third time. Please be aware of and strictly abide by the association's rules! Thank you very much for your support and respect!
